Thermal fogging technology is a tool that can be used to restore your home or business after a fire, or to remediate odors from indoor tobacco use, cannabis, pets, mold, fireplaces, meth lab cleanup and much more. Thermal fogging is a unique process that is able to remove lingering odors, while also reducing the potential health risks involved with occupying a space that has been contaminated with various odor-causing agents.
So how does it work?
The solvent we use is first vaporized by an increase in temperature. The vapor is then condensed upon introduction to the cooler surface air. This results in the generation of extremely small particles called a dry fog.
Thermal fogging is an effective smoke odor removal process because it recreates the fire related properties of heat and pressurization. Porous material pick up thermally activated deodorant droplets in the same manner in which they picked up the smoke odors, closely duplicating what occurs during a fire. Odor damaged materials and items then can be restored to their original condition. Best of all, occupants can often return to a fresh, clean, odor free atmosphere shortly after the process has been completed, reducing loss of rents or additional living expenses.
